WHY PLAY THE CLIMATE COLLAGE?

A fun and participative game about climate change, based on collective intelligence and creativity.
During the three-hour educational workshop participants work together to learn about climate change and discuss the consequences, challenges and changes required. Participants do not need to have any prior knowledge about climate change to benefit from playing the game.

Collective intelligence

Participants are divided into teams to work together to find the cause & effect relationships between 42 climate change game cards.

Sharing

As part of the debrief and collective discussion about climate change, each team presents their finished collage to the other teams.

Creativity

After factually building the collage, participants use their creativity, by adding colours, titles and messages, to embed key messages learnt.

Reflection

The facilitated collective reflection enables the co-creation of solutions at a personal, economic and / or political level.

“Smartly and successfully demonstrates the complexity of a situation that is neither very visible nor tangible – that humans are tampering with climate evolution, and that the consequences of climate change will be very harmful for human activities”. France’s former Minister for the Ecological and Solidarity Transition Nicolas Hulot
