What is lego® serious play®?
LEGO® Serious Play® (LSP) is a facilitated workshop methodology used in meetings and workshops to engage people and help them think differently.
LSP uses LEGO® bricks and elements as communication, problem-solving and creative thinking tools. Born in the 1990s when the LEGO® Group were looking for a tool to unlock imagination and innovation within the company, the methodology is now used around world by organisation for innovation, change management, strategic planning, team building and more.

LSP is backed up by research and is particularly helpful for exploring complex issues, finding innovative solutions and encouraging active participation and collaboration. Exactly what we need to do in the context of sustainability!
LSP is metaphorical
LSP isn’t just about building something with bricks.
In a LEGO® Serious Play® workshop you don’t build the outside world, you build the world inside your mind. Each brick or combination of bricks can be a metaphor for anything the builder wants. The metaphors in the models help individuals and teams build stronger connections and shared understanding that drive collective action.
Every LSP workshop is unique
Every LSP workshop is unique and is designed to address specific challenges. It is possible to experience LSP as a quick 1.5 hour discovery session or as a half or full day workshop.
It works well in both small team coaching contexts as well as with larger groups of up to 40 people.
