I’m Alice Richard
I’m the Sustainability Catalyst behind Co-CREATE ImpACT
Everything I do, I do wholeheartedly. I continuously seek to make a difference in a meaningful way. My passion, energy, creativity and authentic facilitation style are infused in every training I design and deliver.
My career has bridged private and non-profit sectors and has been built around products, projects and collaborations that drive positive change. I started my journey as an innovation consultant in the UK, worked in Switzerland as a United Nations staff member focusing on product-based fundraising, then set up Co-CREATE ImpACT to harness innovative play-based training to advance sustainability. Developing and delivering impactful solutions has been a red thread running through my 20+ years experience.
At my core I am an enabler who loves thinking-out-of-the-box, and is skilled at connecting the dots and making things happen.
I call myself a Sustainability Catalyst. Why? Because catalysts speed up reactions. Time is of the essence…and when it comes to sustainability we need to speed up. Everything.

I don’t do what I do alone, I actively seek and build collaborations that are complementary and supportive; building knowledge, energy and ideas to design and deliver engaging training that inspires and drives positive impact.

My work is at the intersection of the corporate world and entrepreneurship and driven by my personal journey to become more sustainable.
I help companies shape customer experiences that put their employees at the heart, drive customer loyalty and improve the overall customer experience. I have also trained young entrepreneurs to start their business idea and lead the Circular Economy Club in Reading.

I help organisations put teachers at the centre of professional development; creating tools and learning experiences to equip educators with entrepreneurial mindsets to solve educational challenges.
A social studies teacher by training, I am also the co-author of two books designed to support teachers The Startup Teacher Playbook and Preventing Polarization.

how it all started
It all started with a conversation with Sophie Segal, when we realised we both had a shared passion about harnessing play to advance sustainability.
As mothers of young children, our worlds were full of play on a daily basis and we realised first-hand how much can be learnt through play. However, the sad truth is that somewhere between childhood and adulthood most of us stop playing and in doing so we lose access to a powerful tool that can help us look at the world from a different perspective.
Transforming the way we live, work and do business is essential to ensure that we meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations (including those of our children) to meet their own needs.
We were both convinced that if we get more people playing with purpose, then the ripple effect of that play will create positive impact for planet, people and prosperity.
